The name was derived by searching for a word that would relate to candle; after many exhausting searches and finding that many candle makers had same sense of idea. We found the perfect name that connects us with our European heritage in Proto-Italic "kandēō" meaning "to shine, glow".

We like the coconut soy blend for candles and soy blend for wax melts because:

(1) both are sustainable and obtained via a natural process

(2) it provides a slow and even burn for candles

(3) provides amazing scent throw for both candles and wax melts

(4) candles are smokeless and soot-free

(5) finally, it’s a non-GMO product

All the things we believe a candle & wax melts should be, combined with fragrances that are infused with essential oils and phthalate-free.

Phthalates have historically been used to dissolve raw materials in the fragrance manufacturing process. There have been claims of phthalates causing certain health problems. To eliminate any risk, Kandēō uses only phthalate-free fragrances infused with essential oils.

Our shipping rates are calculated based on weight rate using USPS/UPS/FedEx to ship the candles in US.
